PAIN
Comedy, competition, community, and creativity, are four words that best describe the world of PAIN. It is a game in which a player launches their character into an environment to try and cause as much pain and destruction onto themselves and the environment as possible.
The more chaos they can create, the more points they will be rewarded. Rag doll and physics based gameplay play an integral part in the overall design of PAIN. Interested in the game, I moved to Colorado to work on the project. Working with a small team, new hardware, technology, and resources where some of the challenges the title faced.
Overcoming these obstacles, we released the game on November 29, 2007 for the PLayStation 3 Network. It became on of the top selling PS3 Network titles and set the standard for future network games to come. Developing PAIN is an experience I will never forget. The following images showcase some of the art work I contributed to the project.
