On Thanksgiving weekend I adopted Lollie, my Pembroke Welsh Tri-Colored Corgi!  I’ve been looking to adopt a dog for a long time now.  It started when I was living in Colorado, but it was not until I was living in San Francisco that I decided to adopt.

Having grown up with two Golden Retrievers, Bell and Beauty, something is missing when you do not have a dog by your side.  Looking to adopt my own dog, I narrowed my search down to Labradors, Beagles, Terriers, and Corgis.  After much search and research the Corgi was the perfect breed for me. Their personality, intelligence, and playfulness amazes me.  I get so much joy out of the breed and finally found the right dog and breeder to adopt from.

After about a 6 months search in the Bay area for a reputable and respected Corgi Breeder I ended up meeting Ann Marie Buonanno, DVM.  She is a recommended and responsible breeder in the Bay Area who is a member of GGWPCF.  I could not be happier with my adoption.  Being a vet and a caring individual of her dogs, Ann was able to answer all my questions and find the perfect dog for myself.

Driving out to meet with Ann and her dogs I was nervous for some unknown reason.  It was like Lollie was the dog for me and I somehow knew it.  After adopting her there is no doubt that she was meant to be my dog.  Every moment with her is a Joy and she brings so much happiness to my life.  We play and go on adventures together and I don’t know what I would do without her now that she is a part of my life.

Happy Holidays and Best in the New Year!

Cheers :)
